Antecedentes

• 2021 · La Reserva de la Biosfera de Lanzarote aprueba el Tapiz de Vocablos, una propuesta pionera disponible en español e inglés.

• 2022 · El Organismo Autónomo de Parques Nacionales (OAPN) recibe una prueba piloto del Tapiz, aplicada desde la antropología al contexto lanzaroteño. Ver aquí.

• 2023 · La Red Española de Reservas de la Biosfera crea un Grupo Específico de Trabajo para impulsar una nueva fase bajo el nombre Tapiz de Refranes.

• 2024 · Se solicita formalmente la creación de un repositorio digital en la web del OAPN-MaB, aún pendiente de implementación.

  • Abril: Iº Cervantes-Líbano celebra el Día del Libro con una Alfombra de Proverbios, en su sede, Beirut, y en la Misión de Paz de la ONU (UNIFIL)

• 2025 · La iniciativa es presentada por la Red Española de RBs en la Reunión de la Red Mundial de Reservas de Biosfera celebrada en Hangzhou (China).

  • Abril: Iº Cervantes-Jordania celebra el Día del Libro con una Alfombra de Proverbios, en su sede, Amman.

Background

• 2021 · The Lanzarote Biosphere Reserve officially approves the Tapestry of Words, a pioneering initiative made available in both Spanish and English.

• 2022 · The Autonomous Agency of National Parks (OAPN) receives a pilot study of the Tapestry, developed from an anthropological perspective and applied to the context of Lanzarote.

• 2023 · The Spanish Network of Biosphere Reserves establishes a Special Working Group to develop a new phase of the initiative under the name Tapestry of Proverbs.

• 2024 · A formal request is made to create a digital repository on the OAPN-MaB website, which remains pending implementation.

  • April: Iº Cervantes-Lebanon celebrates Book Day with a Carpet of Proverbs at its headquarters in Beirut and at the UN Peacekeeping Force (UNIFIL).

• 2025 · The initiative is presented by the Spanish BR Network at the World Network of Biosphere Reserves Meeting in Hangzhou, China.
